turnkey building system package including software for architectural and structural design,
structural engineering services to certify the building for code requirements,
roll formers to produce the components, material handling to deliver the
components for assembly, equipment for floors, wall panels, trusses and
sub-components, automated sheathing and stacking equipment, custom systems for
modular construction and ancillary tools and equipment for a manufacturing
plant.
Automated Construction Equipment does not charge licensing fees.
The customer controls
his own operations.

professional advice and support to our customers prior to the purchase
decision, and through installation, commissioning and training.
Donald Turner
President &
CEO
Don was educated in Scotland
through a comprehensive apprentice program in the fields of electrical and
mechanical engineering.
After immigrating to Canada,
he worked in the construction industry for a few years to learn the North
American systems and standards.
In 1971, he started his own
electrical and mechanical construction company which grew to be one of the
largest in the Toronto
region.
Having sold the construction company,
he started Filco Corporation in 1988 which specializes in designing and
building industrial equipment and production systems. These systems are geared to high production
output and automation, integrating mechanical, electrical and computer systems
geared to the production requirements of the customer.
Donald M Turner
VP – Sales &
Technology Development
Donald attended Ryerson University
in Toronto ON., where he studied information technology and business
management.
After Ryerson, Donald was employed
with one of Canada’s
largest Financial Institutions where he specialized in real estate
lending. Prior to leaving the Financial
Institution Donald was in a branch management position.
In 1998 when Donald joined Filco he
started on the shop floor and learned all the aspects of the company’s
production operations. From this he has
been able to gain a vast amount of knowledge regarding welding, electrical,
mechanical, pneumatics and production building systems.
It is with this hands on knowledge that Donald is best able to help meet
the customers requirements.
Suzanne Turner
CFO
Suzanne attended school in Toronto
at the University
of Toronto. After which she attended State University of
New York accounting program and received her CPA.
After University, Suzanne worked for the North
American operation of one of Europe’s largest
automobile manufacturers.
Prior to joining Filco Suzanne worked for one of Canada’s
largest Insurance firms in the accounting department.
Suzanne has been instrumental in the implementation
of stream lining Filco’s cost controls in order to help the company better
reach its goals. She has also been a
lead in regards to customer service in making sure that their needs are being
met.
Steve Robbins
Plant Manager
Prior to joining Filco in 2003, Steve had been an
automotive mechanic apprentice as well as a lead hand at a large sheet metal
manufacturer. It was his experience
gained at the sheet metal manufacturer which allowed him to introduce new
finishing techniques to our products.
Steve was instrumental in the set up of our large
powder finishing system which allows Filco to offer a superior finished
product.
